Yg. Siretskii et Oe. Kalinovskaya, Resolvation and fluorescence spectra of solutions of phthalimide derivatives in the binary solvent heptane-hexanol, RUSS J G CH, 70(6), 2000, pp. 832-836
Resolvation of 3-amino-N-methylphtalimide and 3-(dimethylamino)-N-metylphth
alimide in the binary solvent heptane-hexyl alcohol was studied. The earlie
r proposed spectrochemical method was used to obtain fluorescence spectra f
or a series of solvate complexes of the aminophthalimides with hexanol mole
cules, formed by primary elementary resolvation acts. The formation of the
immediate environment of the phthalimide molecules was considered in terms
of the structure of the latter. The regularities in the manifestation of th
e reservation processes that occur under the combined effect of local (shor
t-range) and bulk (polarization) intermolecular forces in the fluorescence
properties of the ternary solutions studied was discussed.
