Abstract
Isocyanatodiphenylphosphine reacts with 3,4-dichloro-5-hydroxy-2(5H)-furano ne (mucochloric acid) to form 3,4-dichloro-5-(diphenylphosphinoyl)-2(5H)-fu ranone. The crystal and molecular structure of the product was established by X-ray diffraction.
