Abstract
Two organoantimony nitrosophenol derivatives Ph4SbONC6H4O and p-Tol(4)SbONC (6)H(4)O were synthesized by the reaction of pentaarylantimony Ar5Sb (Ar = Ph, p-Tol) with p-nitrosophenol in benzene at 20 degreesC. The Sb atom in t he molecule of the, crystal solvate Ph4SbONC6H4O .0.5C(6)H(6) has trigonal- bipyramidal coordination with an axial iminoquinone ligand; associate forma tion does not occur.
