Abstract
Propyl-, butyl-, vinyl-, clorophenyl-, and phenyltrichlorogermanes under el ectron impact decompose by channels different from those characteristic of the corresponding silanes. Methyl-, ethyl-, allyltri-chlorogermanes, and vi nyldichlorogermane decompose in the same way as the corresponding silanes. Fragmentation pathways of the organochlorogermanes and organochlorosilanes studied are proposed.
