Abstract
A new compound NH4[HSiUO6].0.5H(2)O belonging to the morphotropic series A( 1/k)(k) HSiUO6. nH(2)O is synthesized and studied. The structure of this co mpound and the products of its thermal decomposition are studied by X-ray d iffraction, IR spectroscopy and thermal analysis.
