Abstract
The crystal structure of the complex Rb2UO2(MoO4)(2).H2O is determined. The crystal data are the following: a = 7.967(3) Angstrom, b = 10.956(4) Angst rom, c = 13.679(5) Angstrom, beta = 96.69(3)degrees, V = 1185.7(8) Angstrom (3), space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, d(calcd) = 4.363 g/cm(3), R = 0.064, R-W = 0.147. The crystal structure is layered; water of crystallization is not involved in the coordination sphere of the uranium atom.
