Abstract
Statistical study was performed in order to determine the van der Waals rad ius of the chlorine atom based on the data contained in Cambridge Structura l Database. The method used and the results obtained in this work were comp ared with the results of the analogous work by Rowland and Taylor. The reas ons behind the differences were discussed.
