Peculiarities of enzyme destruction of proteins and polysaccharides of
the alpha-gluconate type were studied in natural waters of different
salinity. An analysis was carried out of interconnections of these pro
cesses with the metal content in the water medium. The role of certain
metals in the classification of water types was determined by the dis
criminant analysis.
