Abstract
New data on comprehensive investigations of ferromanganese nodule fiel ds in the study area in Clarion-Clipperton region is presented. Averag e horizontal sizes of the ferromanganese fields and other natural land scapes are defined. Correlation between the distribution of natural la ndscapes and bottom topography roughness are revealed. Chemical compos ition of ferromanganese nodules and bottom sediments is described.
