Abstract
New method is developed for the determination of traces (<10(-9) M) of thal lium(I) in aqueous solutions. The method is based on an effect of thallium( I) ions on transient chaotic regimes in the Belousov-Zhabotinskii oscillati ng chemical reaction. The optimum conditions for the determination has been determined. The detection limit is <less than or equal to>10(-12) M. There are few interferences at low concentrations.
