Abstract
Case report. - A nine-year-old boy from the Ivory Coast was admitted to hos pital because of extremely serious Buruli ulcers. Conclusion. - Surgery is the only treatment available. Moreover, the surgic al excision has to be wide; both open and closed wounds have to be removed to give significant improvements. (C) 2000 Editions scientifiques et medica les Elsevier SAS.
