Abstract
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is typically reserved for y ounger patients. Several recent articles have reported expanding traditiona l age barriers for ACL reconstruction in patients up to 62 years old. We re port a case of a successful ACL reconstruction in an active 84-year-old ran cher. Physiologic age is more important than chronologic age when consideri ng ACL reconstruction.
