Abstract
A method of calculation is proposed in order to investigate the size e ffect on the galvanomagnetic electromotive force effect in a magnetic thin film. The calculation is based on a model which divides a magneti c thin film into circuits. The circuits are designed with consideratio n given to the electromotive force which is generated by the galvanoma gnetic effect, and a set of equations is solved with each circuit. It is found that the calculation describes the experimental data on size effect well, and that the method is applicable to other examples.
