Abstract
Parasitic sea lice are serious problems in aquaculture. The true cost of th ese parasites is unknown. We demonstrate the economic burden imposed by sea lice, so that researchers, aquatic specialists, and policy makers can appr oximate the economic cost of this problem and work towards developing alter native control methods.
