Abstract
We present a multiseptated mesenchymal hamartoma of the liver in a 10-year- old male patient, a rare benign tumor of childhood. The characteristic ultr asound and CT appearances of this unusual tumor are reviewed. A single sept al calcification associated with this tumor was demonstrated, an associatio n which has not previously been repotted. The differential diagnosis for cy stic liver lesions is discussed in detail. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. A ll rights reserved.
