Abstract
Polyschema obclaviformis anam. sp. nov., collected on the rotten leaves of an unidentified plant, is described and illustrated. It is characterized by obclavate, (4-)5-septate conidia with brown central cells and paler end ce lls. A key to the accepted Polyschema species is provided. Linkosia ponapen sis comb. nov, is proposed and some hyphomycetes recorded for the first tim e from Cuba are listed. (C) 2000 Adac/Editions scientifiques et medicales E lsevier SAS.
