Abstract
The paper presents data on the sensitivity of leukemic lymphoblasts to pred nisolone (P) and dexamethasone (DM) ex vivo in the MTT test. The data avail able in the literature on the comparative cytotoxic effects of P and DM on leukemic lymphoblasts are scanty and contradictory. it is unclear whether l eukemic lymphoblasts have cross resistance to these glucocorticoids, whethe r the selective sensitivity of leukemic lymphoblasts to the agents is of cl inical and prognostic value.
