Abstract
In electromagnetic calorimeter, Longitudinal light collection uniformity of crystal scintillator has sizeable influence on the energy resolution. Mont e Carlo (MC) method is used to simulate the process of light transmission a nd collection in long lead tungstate (PbWO4 or PWO) crystal. Discussion foc used on the role of factors such as attenuation length and refractive index to light collection is presented.
