Abstract
Isoxazole derivatives 3a-m and cyanopyridines 4a-m have been synthesized by
the condensation of chalcones 2a-m with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and ma
lononitrile respectively. All the products were screened for their antimicr
obial activity.
