Abstract
The essential oil of spontaneous plants of Calamintha nepeta (L.) Savi subs p. glandulosa (Req.) P.W. Ball with mint-like character were investigated. by GC/MS. Twenty three components were identified in the oil representing 9 9.7%. The major compounds were pulegone (41.0%), menthone (32.0%), piperito ne (7.3%) and piperitenone (7.0%).
