Abstract
Samples of essential oils from aerial parts of Artemisia diffusa Krasch. ex Poljak. and A. deserti Krasch. Were analyzed by GC/MS. Twenty components h ave been identified representing 93.8-98.8% of the oil content. The major c omponents of the oil of A. diffusa were camphor (57.5%) and verbenone (13%) . The oil of A. deserti was also characterized by piperitone (52%), camphor (15.7%) and 1,8-cineole (11.8%) as main components.
