Abstract
Taking advantage of the N-14(p,pn)N-13 reaction occuring during the N-14(p, alpha)C-11 carbon dioxide production, pure [N-13]N-2 suitable for PET venti lation studies was produced in a standard nitrogen gas target for C-11-prod uction ("carbon-11 target"), after elimination of (CO2)-C-11 and short-live d oxygens.
