Abstract
The present work reports equilibration kinetics for (La-0.8,Sr-0.2)CoO3(LSC ) and (La-0.72,Sr-0.18)FeO3(LSF) in the temperature range 876-1114 K using a gravimetric method. Chemical diffusion determined in this way that depend s on oxygen partial pressure, can be expressed by the following temperature dependence at low and high p(O-2), respectively, for LSC: D-chem=8.7 x 10(-3) exp-(58.1 +/- 8.5)kJ/mol/RT (cm(2)s(-1))(1) D (chem)=6.2 x 10(-3) exp-(75.4 +/- 6.5)kJ/mol/RT (cm(2)s(-1)) (2) and for LSF: D (chem)=3.05 x 10(-5) exp-(30.3 +/- 2.8)kJ/mol/RT (cm(2)s(-1)) (3) D-chem=6.3 x 10(-3) exp-(82.7 +/- 10.2)kJ/mol/RT (cm(2)s(1)) (4) (C) 2000 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
