M. Battezzati, An expansion of general validity for the diffusive parameters of a chargedparticle in a zero-point field, J MATH PHYS, 42(2), 2001, pp. 686-697
The following calculations provide expressions for the drift velocity and t
he average diffusion coefficient, applying to diffusion in configuration sp
ace of a nonrelativistic charged particle interacting with the zero-point f
ield of stochastic electrodynamics. The particle is assumed to evolve accor
ding to a widely popular reduced form of the Braffort-Marshall equation, wh
ich is free from runaway solutions, and supposed to be found in stationary
conditions, with regard to the average values of physical quantities. The r
esults show an interesting similarity with the equations of quantum mechani
