Abstract
Seven children and young adults with phantom limb pain (PLP) were treated w ith gabapentin. PLP resolved in six patients within two months. One patient still had symptoms to a lesser degree. Mean follow up, time was 1.74 years . Gabapentin may be a useful adjunct to pain management in patients with PL P symptoms. (C) U.S. Cancer Pain Relief Committee, 2001.
