Successful treatment of disseminated relapsed medulloblastoma in an infantby primary radiotherapy

An infant who experienced disseminated relapse of medulloblastoma while rec eiving chemotherapy is described. He was subsequently treated with radiatio n therapy. Seven and one-half years from diagnosis, he is currently disease -free and enjoys a relatively normal life. We emphasize the importance of c onsidering radiation as one of the treatment modalities for young children with relapsed medulloblastoma.
