Abstract
Films of poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc), poly(methyl acrylate) (PMA), and their blended mixtures were prepared on a mica substrate by the Langmu ir-Blodgett method, and they were studied using an atomic force micros cope (AFM). AFM images showed that PVAc was spread more uniformly than PMA. Since PVAc-PMA mixtures were immiscible, PMA components were squ eezed out and their AFM images strongly depended on the mixed ratio of PVAc-PMA.
