Rotational bands of No-252,No-253,No-254 and the fission barriers of No-254
at spin 0 h and 20 (h) over bar are calculated with the Hartree-Fock-Bogol
yubov theory and the Lipkin-Nogami approximate particle number projection.
The SLy4 Skyrme force is used in the particle-hole channel. A zero-range fo
rce with and without density-dependence is used in the particle-particle ch
annel. The experimental ground state deformation (Q(20) = 32.8 b) is reprod
uced as well as the increase of the dynamical moment of inertia with freque
ncy both for No-252 and No-254. The rotational band of No-253 is also calcu
lated. Fission barriers of No-254 at spin 0 h and 20 h show the robustness
of shell-corrections against rotation in these heavy nuclei. (C) 2001 Elsev
