(pi)over-tilde(0)->(gamma)over-tilde(gamma)over-tilde in dense QCD

QCD superconductors in the color-flavor-locked (CFL) phase support light ex citations (generalized pions) in the form of particle-particle or hole-hole excitations. We analyze the generalized process <(<pi>)over tilde>(0) --> <(<gamma>)over tilde><(<gamma>)over tilde> in the weak coupling limit and s how that it is related to the recently suggested Wess-Zumino-Witten (WZW) t erm. In dense QCD, the radiative decay of the generalized pion is constrain ed by geometry and vanishes at large density. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V . All rights reserved.
