Abstract
Four novel buspirone-like compounds were synthesized and their affinity to the serotonin 5-HT1A receptor was determined. Two compounds bind to 5-HT1A receptor with a high affinity and two other compounds exhibit a low affinit y to this receptor. A simple two-parameter polynomial correlation was sugge sted to express the structure-activity relationships.
