Abstract
We present CCD I-band photometry of the SU UMa type cataclysmic variab le RZ Sagittae obtained during its August 1996 superoutburst. The mean value of the superhump period P-sh derived from our observations is 0 .07039 days (101.4 min). The superhump period was decreasing during th e superoutburst with the rate P-sh = -11.5 x 10(-5).
