Abstract
The Stokes shape factor and drag coefficient of non-spherical particles in laminar regime have been investigated for specially prepared particles in d ifferent shapes with a wide range of particle spherities from 0.2 to 1.0. B ased on the experimental results, the relationship between the Stoke shape factor and particle spherity has been correlated. The correlation of the St oke shape factor with particle spherity is applied to determine particle sp herity and the spherities of 10 kinds of agriculture particles in different shapes are obtained.
