Abstract
The regulation of process systems which may be described by linear multi-va riable Laplace-transformed models having finite time delays is considered. Conventional frequency response methods are employed to assess relatively s tability. A feedback strategy which will minimize the control effort requir ed to confine output changes following disturbance inputs is employed. Typi cal process system models are investigated using output feedback. Computer- simulated response characteristics are presented.
