The molecular structures of five furazan compounds in which two amino- or n
itro-substituted furazan rings are bridged by ate, azoxy or hydrate groups
were determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography. These are diaminoa
zofurazan, diaminoazoxyfurazan, diminoazoxyfurazan, diaminohydrazofurazan a
nd dinitrohydrazofurazan. The structures are compared to those previously r
eported on dinitroazofurazan, aminonitroazoxyfurazan and another polymorph
of diaminoazoxyfurazan.
