Occupational lung cancer: recognition and compensation

Lung cancer is the most frequent of occupational cancers in France. Occupat ional lung cancers are underestimated by national statistics of cases compe nsated by the Social Insurance system. There are some problems yielded by present tables allowing compensation of lung cancel: Some proposals are made about arguments which could be used to have a more fair compensation. data from the literature, data on occupatio nal exposure, chronological arguments, other individual data. Some examples of carcinogenic agents which are not in French tables of occu pational cancers are detailed.
