Abstract
Alkyl 1-(2-bromoisobutyryl)cyclohexanecarboxylates react with zinc and alip hatic, unsaturated, and aromatic aldehydes to give 3-substituted 4,4-dimeth yl-2-oxaspiro[5.5]undecane-1,5-diones.
