Abstract
This study examined male and female decision making under risk and uncertai nty at both the individual and the group levels. Participants included 163 undergraduate business students who responded to four business decision-mak ing scenarios individually and in groups of varying gender composition. The results of this study raise a number of important issues regarding pattern s of risk tolerance among male and female decision makers, both as sole dec ision makers and as members of decision-making teams in organizations.
