Macromolecular prodrugs - Synthesis and hydrolytic behavior of three different drugs bounded on chloroacyl or chlorodesoxy pullulan

This paper comparatively studies the synthesis of new polymer-drug conjugat es by reaction of the cross-linked pullulan microparticles containing chlor oacyl (C-2-C-5) or chlorodesoxy reactive groups with drugs such as metronid azole, nicotinic acid and sulphathiazole. In vitro preliminary studies were carried out in art attempt to evaluate their performances as drug delivery systems.
