From gametophytes of Rhizogonium distichum have been isolated the biflavone
dicranolomin and five triluteolins. Two of the triluteolins, which were na
med rhizogoniumtriluteolin and distichumtriluteolin, were new compounds; th
eir structures have been elucidated spectroscopically.
