Based on the performance analysis of the single stage, the two-stage and th
e double absorption heat transformer, a new ejection-absorption heat transf
ormer is presented and analyzed in this paper. The results show that it has
a simpler configuration than the double absorption heat transformer and tw
o-stage heat transformer. The delivered useful temperature in the ejection-
absorption heat transformer is higher than for a single stage heat transfor
mer and simultaneously its system performance is raised. (C) 2001 Elsevier
