The EEG activity recorded from the human sensorimotor cortical area exhibit s rhythmic activity covering a broad range of frequencies, including alpha, mu: beta, and gamma (40-Hz) rhythms. This commentary elaborates on connect ions between these sensorimotor rhythms and Nunez's neocortical dynamic the ory.
