Abstract
In the last quarter of the 20th century, there was much confusion and uncer tainty amongst microbiologists and managers about the choice, installation, testing and use of the various types of microbiological safety cabinet. Th is review clarifies these issues, with reference to the latest standards an d safe procedures.
