Abstract
The axial dispersion coefficient, representative of the hydrodynamic behavi our of a fluidised bed, is determined by the model method. This method must be able to simulate the model. Therefore, a discretisation by orthogonal c ollocation is performed. Then, this determination is carried out in a fluid ised bed, which tries to simulate an anaerobic biogas generation by a chemi cal reaction on the particles throughout the reactor length.
