Optically detected EPR effect in the (a)over-tilde(3)A(u) triplet state ofthe oxalylfluoride molecule excited to the J '=2 and 4 rotational levels of the 0(0)((A)over-tilde (1)A(u)) vibronic state

In the present study, resolved optically detected EPR spectra were measured
for the 2,, levels of the (A) over tilde (1)A(u)O(0) vibronic state. Value
s of the fine and hyperfine constants were estimated from analysis of these
spectra for the triplet rotational levels, coupled by the intramolecular i
nteractions with the singlet levels studied. The decay profile can be fitte
d by a biexponential function in presence of both magnetic and microwave fi
elds. The observed data were;ere analyzed using the electron- and nuclear-s
pin decoupling mechanism in the limit of low level density and "high' field
limit. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
