Abstract
Hydrolysis of racemic cis-2-arylcyclopropanecarbonitriles catalyzed by Rhod ococcus sp. AJ270 whole cells proceeded enantioselectively to afford the co rresponding amide and acid with enantiomeric excess higher than 99%.
