Abstract
In this fourth parr of the investigations of the bivalves from the Belpberg schichten (Upper Marine Molasse, middle Burdigalian) in the surroundings of Bern 14 species are described, figured and compared with other species. Th e provenance and abundance of the species in the Belpbergschichten and thei r distribution (according to thr: list of synonyms) in the Paratethys and T ethys are given. New are the species Pitar haasi, P. kehrensis and P. moesi grabensis as well as the forma Circomphalus basteroti forma wyssbachensis.
