Abstract
A hybrid integrated eight-channel multi-wavelength photoreceiver consisting of refracting-facet photodiodes (RFPDs) incorporated in an arrayed wavegui de grating (AWG) demultiplexer has been successfully fabricated. The photor eceiver shows a high responsivity of 0.6A/W and a very wide bandwidth of 16 GHz.
