Abstract
The kinetics of crystallization of Fe80SixB20 - x (with x = 2, 4, 6, 8 , 10) and Fe75Si15B10 glassy ribbons was examined using differential s canning calorimetry and high precision electrical resistivity measurem ents. The main crystallization parameters are presented. The correspon ding structure of the materials was observed using transmission electr on microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The mechanis m of crystallization is described in terms of the local ordering (clus ter) model. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
