Abstract
A concise synthesis of substituted 2-aminothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidines is described based on pyrimidine annulation of tetrasubstituted thiophene precursors assembled by a Gewald thiophene ring synthesis. (C) 1997 E lsevier Science Ltd.
