Abstract
This paper is the second of a two-part series. In the first part, the optim al condenser and pump-around duties were determined for two types of crude, one light and one heavy. These crudes constitute the targets for the desig n of a multipurpose heat exchanger network. A model for the design of such a network is presented in this paper. The conjecture that this network can be used as a design that can handle crudes of intermediate density is also tested.
